NJ Teen Called In A Bomb Threat To A Hooters Restaurant
Well Rat Rockers this teen must not like the wings over at “Hooters” in East Brunswick on route 18. This young one called in a bomb threat not once but twice !! Thank God they were both not ture and here is the story, the first fake phone call came in on July 15 to “Hooters”‘ just around 9:30 pm according to East Brunswick Police, and this teen was saying there was a bomb in the bathroom.
The Middlesex County bomb sniffing K9 unit did show up and came out to find no bomb or any type of explosive devices. Just a couple of days later the same teen called in on July 19th around 2pm to say there was a bomb in the restaurant and yet again the bomb dogs were out there doing their jobs and found nothing.
The great work from the local detectives did track down this young punk kid down buy finding out the same number was used on both phone calls. No names were mentioned or where he is from, but to only find out he is a 16 years young, and no word on why he did this stupid act. He did speak up and confessed to making the two phony bomb threats and now he is looking at some hot water.
This teen is being charged with a couple of counts of second degree false public alarm and now we sitting in the Middlesex County Juvenile Detention Center. The local lead detective says ” Hoax bomb threats create fear and put first responders and the public in danger which could lead to someone getting hurt and put everyone in real serious tragedies.”
