Bars in Hoboken are going to be operating under new hours during the Women's World Cup, thanks to action by the city council.
The Hoboken City Council has voted to let bars open at 5 a.m during the World Cup in order to recognize the 14-hour time difference.
The temporary law in Hoboken has certain rules, though. For example, bargoers are only allowed to be indoors between 5 and 10 a.m.
While we haven't heard of any bars in Monmouth or Ocean county opening at 5am for the games (because, lets face it... that's kind of insane) we do know of at least one bar in each county that opens at 7am. And, they happen to be two of our favorites...
In Monmouth County Kelly's Tavern on Route 35 in Neptune City opens at 7am.
In Ocean County the Broadway Bar and Grill on Randall Ave opens at 7am.
