Did You Know…Indiana Jones Is A Jersey Guy!
Davey Mac of the Morning Rat Race here and, as some of you may or may not know, I am a massive George Lucas and Steven Spielberg fan…which leads me to Indiana Jones!
The fifth installment of the Indy series was released this past weekend and I thought it was quite good. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny provides a lot of really cool action…a more complex plot than Indy fans may be used to…and excellent excitement in this really fun flick.
I dug the picture…and think it’s a classy and sentimental way for Indy to go out…if Harrison Ford is done with the series. Overall…I give it two thumbs up!

But one thing I wanted to share with folks is that some Indy fans may not realize it…but Indiana Jones is a Jersey guy! It’s true! In the Indy-verse…young Henry Jones, Jr. was born in Princeton, New Jersey on July 1st, 1899. He grew up in that area until his father re-located himself and Indy to Utah in 1912 following Indy’s mother’s death.
Indiana would move back to Princeton with father in 1916….where Indy would attend high school…until he decided to join the American military for World War I. So…as you can see…I believe this officially qualifies the world’s greatest archaeologist and adventurer as a bona fide Jersey Boy! Give ’em hell, Indiana Jones!

So it looks like I’ve got something in commons with Indiana Jones…we’re both from Jersey…and we both have this hat! BAM!
