Jersey Rock Artists of the Week: Christian Carson & Paris Bach
Debut Solo Album “Vice Versa” Available Now!
Christian Carson is a hard-working Rock hero. Whether pumping out an energetic, plugged-in performance with his band Common Wealth, or delivering a paired-down, bare bones solo acoustic set, he always brings his “A” game. To call him versatile is a serious understatement, making the title of his debut solo album all the more fitting.
Christian Carson’s “Vice Versa” is available now. It is a killer collection of original tracks and quality covers. A true collaborative effort, Carson enlisted the help of a number of talented rockers. Preliminary work on the release was done with Mike Orlando of Adrenaline Mob. Ron Bumblefoot Thal stepped in when Orlando went out on tour. From there Carson forged a powerful bond with the former Guns N’ Roses member, heralded guitar master, and all-around cool dude. Bass work was added by John DJ Deservio of Black Label Society. Carson then tapped an individual with dominant Rock genes to play drums. Paris Bach infused “Vice Versa” with his brand of powerful percussion. The result is a solid effort, greater than the sum of its parts, and perhaps the best thing Christian Carson has produced to date.
