When you walk into the Bradley Brew Project on Main Street in Bradley Beach you're going to walk right past their "Brewery Pays It Forward" program in the doorway.  You'll walk right past it and head right into the tap room because, well, that's what happened to me... and I figure we're pretty similar.

I was excited to see what they had on tap, so I paid zero attention to the bulletin board that had twenty-or-so tags hanging on it.  But after enjoying a tasting, I realized I had forgotten something in my car, so I popped out to retrieve it and that's when I noticed the tags...

They were all hand written in different hand-writing.  Some of the tags had very personal messages on them.  Some mentioned specific career choices, celebrations big and small and even victory over cancer.

I was curious.  A sign next to the tags revealed that it was a "pay it forward" board where patrons could buy a beer and sign it over to someone who was in a particular place in life; someone who was possibly walking a path that they had themselves walked.  Each note took on different meaning... all very personal.

Very cool.  Humanity in a glass.  On a side note, this brewery won our "Brewery Battle" last fall.

Have a look at the tags... as a local brewery pays it forward!
