The Brick Farmers Market Is Back This Weekend
The Brick Farmers Market returns this weekend to begin another successful year bringing together local crafters with the community!
Certainly, if you have never been to the Brick Farmers Market, you are truly missing out on a fun way to kick off your weekend. What started out as a small crafters market some years ago, has now blossomed into one of the best go to spots for folks looking for homemade goods. From knickknacks to home goods, fresh fruits and veggies to flowers and shrubs. Dips, hot sauce, salsa, oils and vinegars. Which brings me to the BEST part of the Market. The Food!
Come Hungry.
Firstly, that might not be the best advice if you are on a budget, but you will enjoy yourself. The free samples alone are better than anything you’ll get at Costco. With such a wide array of foods you literally can find enough ingredients to make a whole family dinner. From baked goods to eggs, honey and butters to nuts and fresh baked breads. You can find artisanal cheeses, pasta, seafood, beef, pork, chicken, and even wild game! Furthermore, the desserts will knock your socks off. Pastries, cookies, cakes, pies, milkshakes, and more, all homemade. See, I told you you can get a whole family dinner at this market.
Some of my favorites.
Honestly, most of my favorite tents at the Brick Farmers Market revolve around food and alcohol. However, there are a few standouts apart from eating and drinking that I do make sure to regularly frequent while I’m strolling around. Little Bean Apothecary has amazing all natural soaps, deodorants, cough syrups and more. My wife loves to browse J. Josephine Creations for their soy based candles. In addition, we both love the Sea Glass Jewelry by Kristen booth. Moreover, I could name all of the food and drink booths as my favorites, however, I’ll just leave you with the website link at the end of this article, where you can check out the list of current shops and some new ones for 2023. Although, I must say, my all time favorite shopping experience at the Brick Farmers Market is stopping by Krakus Deli table for some perogies, kielbasa, cabbage and more.
Where and when is the question!
In conclusion, The Brick Farmers Market happens every Saturday, beginning this weekend through September 30th, from 8:30am until 1:30pm, at Windward Beach Park, 265 Princeton Avenue in Brick.
