A New Donut And Fried Chicken Place Is Finally Coming To New Jersey
Rat Rock Nation, get ready because we are getting a taste of a famous Philadelphia based doughnut shop in the very near future. This sweet business is opening at the Marlton Square Shopping Center at 300 Route 73, Marlton, N.J. That’s right, Marlton New Jersey is getting a Federal Donut shop, known for their creative donuts, and Korean Fried Chicken.
Founded in the City of Brotherly love back in 2011 by 5 hungry Philadelphians, Federal Donuts is a Philly institution, and now South Jersey gets a piece of the action.
The folks in Marlton and the surrounding areas have been spreading the word to their friends, co-workers and neighbors, the only detail that isn’t available as of press time is, when the grand opening will take place. These folks are creative confectionary geniuses! I normally have simple tastes, but I’d be willing to expand my taste buds by trying their Lavender London Fog Donut made with and Earl Grey Tea Glaze and Lavender Cream Ring. They also have a Pralines & Cream donut, a Spiced Pear A La Mode donut, and a handful of classic donuts that take me back to my childhood.
Rat Rockers, you also need to check out their old fashioned glazed, chocolate eclair, cinnamon brown sugar, strawberry lavender, dark chocolate glazed as well as their seasonal flavors. Enjoy the breakfast sandwiches, fried chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, wings and a lot more.
Investors are looking to the future and are hoping to open 150 locations nationwide. I hope they open a few on the Jersey Shore because I love donuts, fried chicken, and a good cup of coffee. Yes, I drink coffee, not just beer, sweet pea.
If you’ve ever been to a Federal Donuts location, please tell me about your experience in the comment section on the WRAT Facebook page.
Thank you for checking out this post and as always we say thank you for always rocking out with me and of course 95.9 The Rat- Gotts ( Yum Yum Come And Get Some !)
