THREE Upcoming Movie Announcements & A New Trailer Dropped At STAR WARS CELEBRATION!
Listen up, Leias and Jedimen! If you’re a fan of the Galaxy far, far away that you need to keep your Ewok ears tuned in to this article! Star Wars Celebration took place this weekend in London and the heads of Lucasfilm made some HUGE announcements regarding the Saga!
First, we will be getting three new movies beginning in 2025. The first movie will be about the continued adventures of Rey and how she sets up a new Jedi class fifteen years after the events of Episode IX.
Then, James Mangold (Ford v Ferrari, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny) will direct a kind-of Star Wars “biblical epic” about the origins of the Jedi and the Sith and the Force itself. It is supposed to be set possibly 25,000 years before the events of Episode I.
Also, Dave Filoni (show-runner for The Clone Wars and executive producer for The Mandalorian) will direct his first, live-action, feature-length film with a movie that will bring many of the events and characters of the Mando-verse together.
And…Lucasfilm dropped a brand new trailer for the upcoming Ahsoka series…which premieres on Disney Plus in August! Check it all out below! And may the Force be with you!
