RAT Rock News

Ghost marked the Easter holiday by cheekily releasing a cover of Genesis’ “Jesus He Knows Me.”

Originally released by Genesis on their 1991 album We Can’t Dance, the song takes aim at popular televangelists that often prey on vulnerable followers. Ghost’s cover of the track is accompanied by a very NSFW video which can be viewed here.

The cover, itself, is the first track preview of Ghost’s new EP, PHANTOMIME. Due out on May 18, the EP contains five covers. In addition to Genesis, other artists covered on PHANTOMIME include Television, The Stranglers, Iron Maiden and Tina Turner. A full track listing is below.

PHANTOMIME is available for pre-order and pre-save here. Meanwhile, EP-exclusive merch and other physical copies are available at Bodega.LomaVistaRecordings.com.
