Police are hoping someone recognizes the idiots who stole a giant red spoon from Dairy Queen.

Dateline, Phoenix. The Dairy Queen used to have a cool giant spoon out front.
A lot of people used to take pictures in front of it, "hey kids you sit in the giant spoon with your ice cream and we'll take your picture for a few likes on Insanity-gram."
Well... the owners of that Dairy Queen are hoping someone can ID the three people who stole that giant spoon. See the video below...
They broke the spoon loose from it's spoon-mooring (I dunno even how to describe the mechanism that ties a giant spoon to a building but there you go: spoon-mooring). The perps then loaded it up on a flat bed and drove off with it.
It was a 15-foot giant red spoon.
It happened early in the morning on March 25th while the place was closed. There's security footage where you can see their faces pretty well. It was two men and a woman. But last we heard, cops still hadn't I.D.'d them.
Police are hoping someone turns them in.
Ocean County’s Most Overlooked Places To Get a Good Breakfast Sandwich
Aren’t you tired of seeing the same old places on the same old lists to get a good breakfast sandwich in Ocean County? I realize the usual suspects are on the "Best Of" lists because we LOVE them, they do a bang up job making our first meal of the day. Taylor Sam’s, Baron’s Bagel’s, Luigi’s, Sand Castle Diner, and a handful of others make some of the best breakfast sandwiches in the County for sure.
How about the places that may not be on your radar? Anyone who creates these "Best" lists can do a Google search, head over to Yelp, Trip Advisor, and all of the other sites where reviews are written and just copy the top 10, which by the way is the fastest way to create these lists. But do these people really do any heavy lifting? I’m actually taking the time to do a deep dive to find places that may not be front and center. It’s also a good way to explore places we’ve never tried before.
Please keep going to your favorite places but try to switch it up every now and then to show love to other local businesses who deserve the spotlight. I am all about showing my appreciation to local businesses to help them survive, and you should try to do the same.
Betty & Nick's Bait & Tackle - : 807 SW Central Ave, Seaside Park, NJ 08752
The fishing fans know all about Betty & Nick's. Now it's your turn to grab breakfast at this gem of a cafe.

Princeton Deli 2 - :24 Green Island Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753
The Princeton Deli in Brick's sister store is the go to for Green Island residents and those who like to visit this nice neighborhood. Jimmy Steal tipped me off about this secret spot.
Lava Java House - 500 Grand Central Ave, Lavallette, NJ 08735
My friend Donnel and her husband Jim rave about this place! I have never been here, and now would be the time to go, because when Summer hits, the lines to get in are long. Good breakfast sandwiches and really good avocado toast.
Poppy's Place - 290 W Water St, Toms River, NJ 08753
The folks who live nearby call this place, "Their little secret." My friends in town gave me the heads up on this blast from the past eatery and how good all the breakfast dishes are, especially the egg sandwiches.
Sam W.Bagel Bistro & Grille - 65 Main St, Toms River, NJ 08753
I've been told that the "Belly Buster" breakfast sandwich is the way to go.
Hometown Food Mart Deli & Grill - 600 Fischer Blvd, Toms River, NJ 08753
Always greeting customers with a warm smile and a hot breakfast sandwich. Matt is a customer for life, he loves that they always remember his name every time he orders his breakfast sandwich. I love a place that calls you by your name instead of saying, "Hey you, what can I get for you?"
Scojo's - 307 Long Beach Blvd, Surf City, NJ 08008
I'll bet lots of the locals who listen to WRAT on 107.9 know about this place. It's simple, well made food that satisfies your breakfast craving. Plus they have a section for healthy choices.
Jovo's Deli - West, 1715 NJ-88, Brick Township, NJ 08724
Jovo's may have popped up on one of these lists once or twice, but once or twice is not nearly enough. You need to wrap your mouth around a Jovo's breakfast sandwich. Here's a portion of Ken's review: Until you have a PEC with salt, pepper, ketchup and a hash brown from here, then don’t talk to me. This place is as family owned as it gets and is an awesome spot to walk into. Has great subs and cheesesteaks too!
Klotz's Kitchen - 2247 Bridge Ave, Point Pleasant, NJ 08742
By the way, it's cash only and for the time being they're only open Thursday through Tuesday 7 am to 2 pm. Traditional menu and blackboard specials. If you're not going for the breakfast sandwich, then hit the pancakes, I read they were outstanding.
Lighthouse Deli - 1636 NJ-72 Suite 3, Stafford Township, NJ 08050
Any place that sticks with Boar's Head Meats is a place I want to visit. I love a good sausage egg and cheese sandwich and according to my friend Rob this is the place to get a really tasty one.
American Corner Deli - 399 Dover Rd #1, Toms River, NJ 08757
Another hometown hit that doesn't get the recognition they deserve.
Harry's Smokin' BBQ - 240 Dover Rd, Toms River, NJ 08757
Harry pops up on a lot of lists for a variety of things, but I have never seen Harry get the amount of kudos he deserves for his ridiculously hearty breakfast sandwiches. If you're hungry, it's Harry's for you.
Wavershak's Deli - 1898 Hinds Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753
Under new ownership since June 2023. Stacy aims to please. Excellent customer service and a hearty breakfast sandwich to start your day.
Corner Deli Cafe Island Heights - 22 Central Ave, Island Heights, NJ 08732
Talk about a hidden gem, this little out of the way breakfast and lunch spot is a favorite of the Island Heights locals as well as Summer tourists. Cozy little cafe with great breakfast sandwiches and homemade fare. I hear the soups are delicious.
White Oak Market - 206 SE Central Ave, Seaside Park, NJ 08752
I can't imagine how many pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwiches they sell based on how many locals have mentioned this place. Next time you're in the area, stop by for a great sandwich made with love. The soups here are also homemade and nearly as famous as their sandwiches,
