Ireland, as well as many of the Northwestern European countries, are not known for their heat spices.
In fact much of their cuisine is said to be on the bland side, compared to the good old US of A. What, with our bbq sauces, and boom boom sauces, and secret special sauces. Oh and of course our hot sauces!

Well the fine folks at wonderful Youtube Channel, The Try Channel, have once again gotten together a bunch of lads and lasses from the Emerald Isle to eat American cuisine. If you have never watched the Try Channel, I highly recommend it. What a hoot! Not just Irish, but all cultures from around the world are given willing taste tests of foods they have never even dreamed of, let alone eaten. Think African Bushmen eating Dunkin Donuts, or Middle Easter Imams chowing down on KFC. You'd be surprised at the reactions! Check it out when you can. However, first give this a gander.
A few of today's hottest sauces sold here in the US and around the planet for purchase.
Our young Irish friends should be given much props for being so game. Also, in true Irish sprite they are tough as nails, and handle the heat with Gaelic Pride, almost the whole way through the video...Almost.

In closing, I'd like to wish everyone a happy and safe St Paddy's.
Don't drink to much, but have fun! Oh and remember, if you're Irish, you owe a debt of gratitude to these young countryman. They put their livers work on hold, and gave the heavy lifting to their taste buds in this video. Throwing caution to the wind, they broke down all the Irish foodie stereotypes, and showed once and for all, that Irish people too, can give a Hot Take! Slante'!
