Jack White Shows Off His Customized Ford Broncos
Jack White took to his Instagram yesterday to share his latest creative accomplishment – two customized Ford Broncos. Both White’s classic 1975 model and his new edition are in similar White Stripes colors. Together they display White calls, a “2 pony stable” and “two generations of the same iconic truck”.
White explained on both his personal page and to Jack White Art and Design, how this passion project was something he always wanted. “I was told I was brought home from the hospital in a red Ford truck after I was born. But nothing could prepare me for this find, a 1975 Bronco with Ranger package built on the exact day I as born in the city of Detroit,” the motor city native wrote.
In a series of follow-up posts, White provides great detail on all the thought that was put into the aesthetics of both trucks. White envisioned “a full size matchbox car”. To bring this to life, White teamed with Greening Auto Company in Alabama. Both renditions are stunning, serving as an extension of White’s incredibly inspiring artistry.
Jack White’s Art and Design page showcases White’s creative design work. It’s where you can get a glimpse into White’s early days as an upholster, behind the scenes of Warstic (his baseball bat company), and a wide range of various other projects such as these stunning Broncos.
The White Stripes are on the ballot this year for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. White is also coming off a busy 2022 where he released two new solo records and toured the globe. With no dates currently scheduled for 2023, be sure to keep an eye on the other various projects White shares.
