The Fish Hawks Saltwater Anglers Club's 19th annual Fisherman's Indoor Flea Market takes place this Saturday March the 4th, from 8:30am until 4:30pm at the Lacey Elks Lodge in Forked River.

The Lacey Elks Lodge #2568 is located at 900 Beach Boulevard in Forked River. The event is sponsored by the Fish Hawks Angler's Club.

According to their website, https://fishhawksnj.com/ ,The Fish Hawk's Saltwater Anglers Club's charter was established on April 6, 1977. Moreover, The common goal was to form social fishing club, dedicated to good sportsmanship, preservation of the marine environment, and safeguarding our natural resources. Still, Each year since, our membership has increased and the Club is now one of the largest and most active fishing clubs in New Jersey, with approx. 140 members, devoted primarily to fishing for a variety of saltwater species.

However,  Expertise of members ranges from novice to expert, from fishing, crabbing, and clamming in the backwaters of Barnegat Bay, to the canyons ninety miles offshore.

Meetings are held at 7:30 P.M. on the first Thursday of each month at the Lacey Elks Lodge, 900 Beach Blvd, Forked River, N.J., guests are welcome. The agenda usually includes an informative guest speaker and/or video presentation.

Meanwhile, As far as selling at the upcoming Fisherman's Indoor Flea Market, 8 foot vendor table space is being rented for 30 dollars for the day. Admission to the event for patrons is just 4 dollars, and kids 12 and under are free with a paying adult. Plus, Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Lastly, Plenty of boating and fishing gear will be available, from approximately 60 market vendors.

Believe it or not, Jimmy’s first job was overnights at a Christian Radio Station. He claims he got into radio because like Rocky Balboa once said, “cause I can’t sing or dance.” Jimmy loves to write about all local happenings, especially around his town of Toms River. Best Rat Rock Bands: STP, VH, ZEP, PEARL JAM, FOOS, PEPPERS,AC/DC Favorite New Bands: Glorious Sons, Rival Sons, Dirty Honey Most Embarrassing Moment: the moment my mother reads this shit! Best Day: I know a lot of folks say this, but it’s true: the day my little girl Jynell and my boy Big D were born! Next to that, it would have to be the day I was baked on earth day in Central Park and met Keefer Sutherland…baked too, I believe.
