Officials in Upper Township are saying they will not be calling for a moratorium on off shore wind energy projects, in the wake of several recent whale deaths. Upper Township is just south of AC. Federal authorities are saying there is no direct evidence that the whales are dying due to work carried out for off shore wind energy development. But that hasn’t stopped several Jersey Shore Mayors from calling for that development to be stopped. Just Monday, another dead humpback whale washed ashore in Manasquan. A majority of whales that washed up in New Jersey show evidence that they were hit by large boats.

Ewing Township Schools in Mercer County closed all of its schools out of an abundance of caution. The 43-year-old Michigan school shooter attended Ewing Schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade, but hasn’t lived in the area for years.
A teacher in Bergen county started lust scrolling on his laptop while the students in his class were doing independent study. Only problem, he didn’t realize his laptop was still connected to the overhead projector for the entire class to see. The teacher with the Paramus School District, who has not been identified, was unaware students could see the images of the women in underwear he was looking at.

The study reviewed the seven deadly sins — from greed and lust to anger and jealousy — according to various metrics, including violent crimes and excessive drinking. New Jersey comes in 21st among all states, while Nevada ranks first. Wyoming comes in last.
