Anthony Krizan has been doing the Garden State proud for a long time. The former Spin Doctors guitar player is hard at work fostering up-and-coming musicians and cranking out great new material of his own. His Sonic Boom Recording Studio in Raritan has become a hub for artists of all ages and skill levels.
Anthony Krizan is currently working on a new EP, with plans for a full-length album in the near future. His soulful style of Blues Rock will be on full display on the upcoming release “Into The Groove.” He describes the sound he’s going for as “a cross between Ottis Redding and Jimmy Hendrix.” We’ve already sampled a few of the tracks and are looking forward to sharing them with you this week on Jersey Rock!
A graduate of North Plainfield High School, Anthony Krizan will enjoy a homecoming of sorts when he rocks nearby Dunellen later this month. Don’t miss The Anthony Krizan Band with Colossal Street Jam and Resurrection X at the Dunellen Theater on Saturday February 25! It will be an intimate night of original Rock! Only 240 tickets are available. Admission is $25 and advance tickets are available HERE. Get in early and enjoy dinner and drinks at the connected Zupko’s Tavern!
Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The RAT Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear cuts from the upcoming EP “Into The Groove.” Anthony Krizan will call in to the show each night!
Anthony Krizan’s video for “Strawberry Wine” was recently featured as the Jersey Rock Video of the Week. Check it out!
