Many township residents east of the Garden State Parkway are wondering when Texas Roadhouse and Freddie's Steak Burgers will be opening. Meanwhile, Silverton residents are pondering the future of Charlie Brown's. However, folks west of the Parkway will soon have an exciting new dining option!
A new restaurant named Lot 11 Eleven, conveniently located at 1111 Route 37 West is set to open February 25th, with a big grand opening celebration. Highlighting the night will be live entertainment from Marti Farro and The Suspects, with their 80's Dance Party starting at 7pm. Diners can expect a wide array of entrees, plus pizza salad and desserts, along with a full bar menu.
Sadly, one part of the story is that Lot 11 Eleven is taking over for the now defunct Toms River location of Mellow Mushroom. When Mellow Mushroom first burst onto the scene a few years back I was quite excited, having had been to the one in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. However, the Toms River location was apparently unable to sustain a solid stream of customers post Pandemic, and through inflation. Below are some pics of an appearance I did there with the Rat back in 2017. It was a fun time and a good place. We wish Lot 11 Eleven good luck and welcome to our community!
