Broad Street Dough Co is coming to Wall Township. The shop will be located in the new Wall Center on Route 35, where the Circus Drive In once stood.

According to their website, https://www.broadstreetdoughco.com/ , Broad Street Dough Co was born from the simple need for a fresh doughnut. From that one idea, owner operator Desdemona Dalia created 3 locations, with 40 everyday flavors, and endless specials and custom creations. Following Des' lead, the Broad Street Dough Co dream team is spreading love one doughnut at a time. They strive to leave no one behind, as everyone deserves a treat made special, just for them! They offer Kosher, Vegan, Dairy Free, and yes, Gluten Free options every day and can accommodate nut allergies as well.

Broad Street Dough Co has been featured in Cosmo, Buzzfeed, Food & Wine, and Glamour, just to name a few sites and publications. They post their Friday through Sunday Weekend specials on their Instagram page. Some of the interesting and eclectic names for their sweet creations include Snowcap Sundae, Devil Dog, Nutella Of Love, PB Party Cheesecake, and something called The Essy, which looks like it wants me to eat it 13 times in a row. Just sayin'.

Ms. Dalia is looking toward a Summer 2023 opening, with the Wall Center building construction still underway at present time. However, my guess is it won't be long before the traffic jams we used to see on Summer days at that portion of Route 35 in Wall, will return once again. People love their sweets, and with busy locations already in Oakhurst and Freehold, the Wall Township Broad Street Dough Co is sure to make traffic stand still, waiting to get in.

Menu prices range from $2.25 for an "Old School" single doughnut, to $3.45 for what they call "A Little Extra" single. Meanwhile, boxed doughnut prices range from $12.99 to $72.99, depending on amount and style.

Thanks to Robyn Lane for turning me on to this!
