I used to live in Ocean Township New Jersey before I moved South to the Toms River area, and I loved everything about living in that town. It was 7 miles from work, I had Wegman’s down the road, the Monmouth County Mall was within walking distance, and we had a decent variety of great restaurants, bagel places, and convenience stores. I really had it made.

Ocean Township got even better when International Bites opened up in the Summer of 2021.  You’ll find them at 1013 NJ-35, Ocean Township, NJ 07712.

International Bites is one building currently with 3 different kitchens, (it was originally 5.) I love that concept! Multiple kitchens to satisfy whatever food mood you’re in. I think it’s great for friend groups who have different desires for international cuisine. If one friend wants Dim Sum, and the other wants a poke bowl then this is the place to go. Everyone wins. If you crave Greek food, you've got the "Greek Spot" next door.

Inside International Bites you’ll find:

House Of Poke – A build your own poke bowl place complete with House of Poke signature bowls made with tuna, salmon, or shrimp, along with vegan options. You can opt for cooked dishes too such as, a Chicken Karrage bowl, Coconut Shrimp and Chicken Teriyaki.

Dimsum World – I usually have to travel to either Edison or Chinatown to get good dumplings. I’ve yet to visit this place, so I cannot comment on whether they’re comparable to anything I’ve experienced.  I hit the review sites on the web and Eureka!  I found lots of glowing reviews.

First on the menu, Spicy Mala Pork Soup Dumplings!! Mala, the signature flavor of Sichuan cuisine means "spicy and numbing. I can feel the soup dripping down my chin, and it’s so delightful. They also offer Black Truffle and Pork Soup Dumplings, as well as a small variety of pan fried dumplings, and  hand made boiled dumplings. They also have barbeque roast pork buns, shumai, and build your own rice bowl.

Mi Casa Tu Casa Mexican Restaurant– Along with tacos, they serve breakfast, Mexican Street Corn, Pork Chops, Chimichangas, Fajitas, Quesadillas, Burritos, Empanadas, Tamales, and many of your favorite sides and desserts including Choco-Flan and Tres Leches.
