Lisa Marie Presley's death was a shocker for the music industry and many from the industry showed up for her funeral and a few of the many performed for the solemn occasion at the Graceland complex in Memphis, Tennessee.
Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins performed. Alanis Morrissette performed a song from her recent album. A member of the English royal family: The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, read a poem.
But one surprise was Axl Rose of Guns-n-Roses who sat solo at the piano to perform the band's epic "November Rain". Clearly a stripped down performance with very little production so the raw nature of Axl's vocal are on display with this performance.
Pretty cool...
