Squiggy The Welcome Chicken Has Gone Missing

Squiggy the chicken has gone missing from a farm. Possibly chicken-napped from a popular family farm in South Jersey. Squiggy is the welcome chicken at Funny Farm Rescue in Hamilton, Atlantic County. It’s believed to have been taken by a guest from the animal sanctuary. Officials say Squiggy’s mild demeanor, which stands opposite of the breed, is one of the main reasons for its popularity. The rooster was last seen on Tuesday afternoon and a more than one-thousand-dollar reward is being offered for his return.

Green space going away in Millstone as more warehouses are coming to western Monmouth County. This one on Route 33 near the intersection of Millstone Road. In all, three big development projects in that area will bring increased traffic to that section of Route 33.
New Jersey’s 2022 Hall of Fame induction ceremony happened over the weekend. Danny Devito hosted. Honored this year: Chelsea Handler introduced by Jon Bon Jovi. Other inductees included drummer Max Weinberg, three-time Olympian for soccer Heather O’Reilly, former Eagles quarterback Ron Jaworski, and the late Governor Richard Hughes.
The New Jersey Bear Hunt may be coming back. Governor Murphy says the bear population is growing significantly and non-lethal bear management methods are not working. Murphy opposed the bear hunt while campaigning and did not renew the hunt when the previous plan expired. However, the New Jersey Fish and Game Council will discuss the matter at a meeting tomorrow.
