What If Wawa Sold Pot?
Because that’s pretty much what’s happening down south.
If Wawa sold pot, the snack shelves would be empty. There wouldn’t be a sub sandwich left in the place. Ring dings? Sold out. Potato chips? None left. Every Wawa franchise owner would be so wealthy their yacht’s would have garages.
Today’s No Sweat News traveled to the No Sweat News Capitol: Florida. Where medical marijuana is a thing, but recreational weed is still illegal (However, the smell of any walk on any Miami street will have you believing that grass is legal.)
We’ve heard that the Circle K chain will be partnering with Green Thumb Industries to operate RISE medical marijuana dispensaries inside the store.
I mean, let’s be real here: Pot was sold in the Circle K parking lot for years and years. Now it’s just going inside the store! LOL!
RISE actually operates a few medical marijuana dispensaries here in New Jersey, they’re in the northern part of the state. The RISE line of THC products that will be available for medicinal users for purchase at the Circle K including “flower” (that’s the actual marijuana), vape, edible, and “pre-rolls” (that’s joints that are already rolled and packaged).
I’ve gone through the process of buying recreational weed here in New Jersey. In a word I would describe the process as: unnecessarily clunky. Ok that’s two words. You gotta get a pick up appointment. They want you to preorder and then you gotta wait in line for an hour to get your stuff.
To be honest, I got so aggravated by the process and I’m considering going for a medical use card just so I can skip the line of recreational users. The anxiety of dealing with the recreational weed process is making me get a medicinal use card. How crazy is that?
