I mean...how can you not love baseball sometimes?   Sure, it's filled with bad umpires and overpriced hot dogs and whatnot...but it also delivers moments like the one below.

Stephen Vogt has been a solid, journeyman catcher for his 10-year Major League Baseball career.   He has most notably played on the Rays, A's, Braves, and a few others.

Well, yesterday was the final day of the MLB regular season...and it was also Vogt's final game...he's decided to retire.

So, for Vogt's LAST at-bat in the Big Leagues...his son did the walk-to-the-plate intro for Vogt.   And then what did Vogt do in his final at-bat?   Well, you're just gonna have to watch the clip!

It's one of the sweetest things in Sports I've ever seen.   I'm not crying...there's something in my eye!   Stop looking at me!!

Anyway, check out this great clip below.   Sometimes baseball is just the best.
