Jimmy's Dogs

I had Friday off so I could get the right of passage for every middle aged man - my colonoscopy! Everything went fine, thanks. But this isn't a story about Butts, well actually it's a story about sitting my butt in a chair, for most of the weekend! Friday as I recovered, I spent most of the day in my very comfy recliner, watching Godfather II. Poor Fredo. Anyway then at night I watched the Yankee game to see Aaron Judge hit number 62. I even took photos of his at bat on my tv! Didn't happen.

Saturday my wife and I were set to celebrate our wedding anniversary at the Silverton Fallfest, but as we all know, Ian reared is ugly weather head. So we opted for Uber and an afternoon of day drinking at local pub, Mcintyers. Laughing, talking, drinking, and watching the Yankees game to see Aaron Judge hit number 62. I even took a photo of his at bat on one of the tvs! Didn't happen. We eventually poured ourselves into an Uber and went home, where I once again found myself on my recliner til bedtime.

Sunday was to be a banner day! I was cooking a veal stew from scratch in my Dutch oven, NFL football was live from England to get the day of sports, food, and gambling started, and of course there was my recliner. Not the same one from the den, but one in our seldom used "Wine Room", as my wife calls it. A room that has nice furniture, very few bottles of wine, and furthermore, a room where no one ever even has a glass of wine. Today was special though! I opened the gate and let the dogs on the new couch! Oh my God, then didn't leave for 8 hours. They slept and slept, and switched positions, and slept some more. I watched football, and ate, and of course switched back to the Yankee game to see Aaron Judge hit number 62. I even took photos of his at bat on the Wine Room tv! Didn't happen. it's all there, documented for you in the gallery below.

Man, that stew was good.

Believe it or not, Jimmy’s first job was overnights at a Christian Radio Station. He claims he got into radio because like Rocky Balboa once said, “cause I can’t sing or dance.” Jimmy loves to write about all local happenings, especially around his town of Toms River. Best Rat Rock Bands: STP, VH, ZEP, PEARL JAM, FOOS, PEPPERS,AC/DC Favorite New Bands: Glorious Sons, Rival Sons, Dirty Honey Most Embarrassing Moment: the moment my mother reads this shit! Next to that, it would have to be the day I was baked on earth day in Central Park and met Keefer Sutherland…baked too, I believe.
