LISTEN: The New Nickelback Tune “San Quentin” Is Finally Here!
Nickeback spent their time during lockdown being creative. They Have a brand new song that was released today (September 7,2022) and their new album “Get Rollin” hits the streets on November 18th.
I’m sure at this point in their 25 plus year career, they couldn’t care less about all the hate and vitriol trolls throw their way. I would imagine they’re laughing all the way to the bank. The Canadian darlings are making a boatload of money and the haters are sitting in their parent’s basement wondering which food delivery app to use for their next meal.
To this day I can’t figure out why some people hate this band. There are plenty of artists I can do without, but I would never think of going online to trash them and take them down because their music doesn’t inspire me. I like to keep it moving and stay positive where music is concerned.
Nickelback has amassed quite the following over the last two and a half decades. I have been to at least a half a dozen live shows in the last 25 years and the boys bring it in a live performance. They interact with the fans and play their asses off to sold out crowds.
For a band that receives so much crap, their stats are pretty impressive. Take a look below:
Stats:
- Career streams (US): Over 4.7 Billion
- Career sales history (US): Over 31.4M album equivalents
- Social footprint: 4M
- Instagram: 785K followers
- Twitter: 717K followers
- Facebook: 16M followers
- TikTok: 293K followers
- Spotify: 5.8M followers, 11.5M monthly listeners
- YouTube: 3.3M subscribers, 2.7 Billion total views
- “Rockstar” : 113M views
- “Photograph”: 50M views
- “Far Away” : 47M view
The music video for”San Quentin” was filmed at the end of August at the Simon Fraser University Convocation Mall in British Columbia. You can look forward to seeing it in mid-September.
Please, for the love of God, listen to this hard driving new tune from Nickelback and have a good day!
