Toms River Little League is back at it as they’re playing TONIGHT on ESPN in hopes of advancing to Williamsport!   And so to get ready for what will be a fun evening, we’re looking back at this great video from a few years ago of Toms River’s own Todd Frazier and a few teammates discussing their amazing 1998 Little League World Series victory.

Of course, Frazier would go on to have a fantastic Big League career…winning the 2015 MLB Home Run Derby as a member of the Cincinnati Reds.   Todd would also occupy an important role on the 2017 Yankees team and also played for the Mets.   Todd has since retired after slugging over 200 career homers and being great with the glove.

But we first got to know Todd as a member of the fantastic Toms River team that took home the bacon in ’98.   And this video is pretty awesome.   Check it out and make sure to watch the Toms River squad tonight on ESPN!   Go Toms River!   And go New Jersey!
