Big news, Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza is coming back, and this time it’s for good. September 15, 2022, should be declared a national holiday, especially for stoners because that’s when Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza returns to the menu permanently!
Yum Brands, the chain’s owner had pulled the item off the menu in 2020, before a failed comeback this past May due to a shortage of ingredients. The demand was seven times higher than when the item was previously available and the fast food restaurant was just unable to keep up. There just wasn’t enough beef and refried beans to go around.
I heard from a bunch of people that they were making my copy cat re-creation at home. Back in September of 2020, I posted a simple at-home recipe for the Taco Bell Mexican Pizza on my page at wrat.com which is when the backlash was in full effect.
C’mon, this stuff should be considered one of the major food groups!
The link below will have the recipe in your hands as soon as you click:

If you read the original article, the brand owner’s claim was the packaging had a huge environmental impact and Mexican Pizzas alone use more than seven million pounds of paperboard per year.
Not sure how they’re going to combat that problem this time around. I’m guessing they’re going green and delivering your yummy Mexican pizzas in recyclable containers.
No more boycotting Taco Bell! We’re going to be tooting up a storm once again come September 15th.
Stoners and fans unite! We’ll see you at 2 am after the Jersey Shore bars close at the Taco Bell drive-thru.
