Clearing Crystal Lake in Manchester, Howell’s New Police Chief, Ground Breaking for Portal Bridge
Police in Manchester arrested more than 130 tickets to people on trespassing charges this weekend at a former mining site on the Jersey Shore that has become popular on Tik Tok. The former site of Heritage Minerals is now called Crystal Lake and trespassing on the private property is a criminal offense. But that has not stopped some from posting videos of the lake on Tik Tok, many of which have been taken down. Manchester Township Police say the water can be dangerous. As police cleared the area this weekend, one of the trespassers’ vehicles became stuck and had to be towed out.
