Oddly Casual is an eclectic Alternative Folk Rock outfit from Somerville. Formed by grade school friends in 2010, the band seeks to “reach new heights in the footsteps of previous great NJ rock bands.” They are well on their way to achieving that goal.
Oddly Casual made their Jersey Rock debut on Episode 210 of The Jersey Rock Weekly Podcast. We turned up “Take Me Out To Hollywood” from their debut EP “Too Much Jean.” The band released their sophomore EP “The Good, The Plaid, The Ugly” on all streaming platforms on July 22. The video for “(Better Than The) Dog” was shot by Tyler Ajamian during Oddly Casual’s May 13th performance at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
