Yet Another Date Announced For The Grand Opening Of Royal Farms In Brick

Another day, another delay for Royal Farms in Brick, New Jersey. They were expected to open in June of this year and that was delayed. Then we were told that they’ll be opening on July 21, 2022. That’s not happening. Now they’re expected to open on September 21, 2022.
According to my friends on the Facebook page, Jersey Coast Emergency News, the powers that be apparently changed some of the construction requirements.
The store supposedly built everything to the township’s specifications. The township signed off on the project, but the state has the final say. Keep in mind that the address is 1756 Route 88. The building faces Route 70, and both 88 and 70 are state highways. According to my sources, the state said the curbs needed to be redone along with a handful of other modifications. Word on the Street is the additional modifications will cost about $20,000.
Royal Farms will comply and hopefully open by September 21, 2022.
I’ve been dying to try the fried chicken because a lot of people have been raving about how delicious it is. Plus the beauty of the convenient location of Route 70 and Route 88 allows for easy access to get gas. I’m sending good vibes their way to open on their next target date.
