You Can Rent Out “The Godfather” House On Air BnB
It’s Basically An Offer You Cannot Refuse!
Vito Corleone’s estate from “The Godfather” is going up for rent on Airbnb and get this: It’s totally affordable.
First we should clarify: The house was only used for EXTERIOR shots. And it’s in Staten Island, New York. The house was used for the iconic wedding party scene, video below in case you forget. It’s a total classic piece of American film history.
Unfortunately, it’s only being offered ONCE, and you have to take it for a full month, from August 1st through the 31st. But the price is definitely right on this one. While most AirBnB’s with this kind of heritage and high end remodeling have high price tags, this one costs $50 a night, or $1,500 for the duration.
They set the price because of the 50th anniversary of the movie.
The owner of the house (which is worth well over a million clams) says the property is perfect for a family of 5. They asking only to have five people in the house, total . . . and no guests.
Your chance to book the stay opens next Wednesday, July 27th, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Here’s the link on Air BnB for info.
