Hit Parader’s “No Cover” is an original band competition show. Twenty five bands battle it out for a number of prizes, including a recording contract with Summerian Records. Judges include Alice Cooper, Lzzy Hale, Tosin Abase, Gavin Rossdale, and Bishop Briggs. New episodes go live every Wednesday on Summerian Records YouTube channel.
Back in April we proudly announced that Toms River’s Kodiak was selected to compete on “No Cover.” We’re proud to announce the band will continue to compete on the show. Following a performance that garnered both praise and criticism from the judges, Kodiak earned a vote from Tosin Abase and lived to fight another day. The band has advanced to the Wild Card Round. As a number of talented bands were elminated after just one performance this is a serious honor!
“I think you guys are nailing the thing you’re attempting to do ,” Tosin Abase said, ” I think you guys killed it! It sounded great. I was smiling. You sound awesome.” Alice Cooper added “Cool band!”
