Jersey Rock

Hosted by Tom Hanley Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 11:30 pm

Each year The Partnership For A Drug-Free New Jersey hosts a competition that challenges NJ high school students to produce original music with an anti-drug message.  The “Your Song! Your Voice! Shout Down Drugs NJ” competition is a great talent showcase that awards recording contracts to 3 winners from across the Garden State.

In 2020 the competition transitioned from an in-person event to an online virtual concert hosted by WRAT Afternoon Drive personality “The Real Deal” Jimmy Steal.  Following the conclusion of the virtual concert, Jimmy announced the winners live on the air.  We’re proud to feature them this week on Rat Radio!
