Shore Awards Check-In: Silverball Retro Arcade (Best Retro Arcade)
What’s up, Rat Rock Nation! “East Side” Dave of the Morning Rat Race here and I recently checked in with the 2022 Shore Award winner for Best Retro Arcade…Silverball Retro Arcade in Asbury Park!
The spot is a great one if you’re looking for vintage pinball and classic arcade games. You get pinball machines from the ’60’s, ’70’s, ’80’s, and ’90’s…plus a few mondern day pinball machines like Lord Of The Rings. Patrons of Silverball also have access to a great air hockey table, skee-ball machines, and other old school yet fun-to-play games.
And the thing I love about these retro arcades…no quarters! When you enter Silverball, just choose whether you want to play for a half-hour, one hour, two hours…pay their entrance fee…then enjoy countless awesome games!
I recently took my kids there and we had a fantastic time. My son and I got into a heated competition with their bowling game.
