On 4/20 Hit Parader will launch a competition for unsigned bands on YouTube.  "No Cover" follows in the tradition of shows like "American Idol" and "The Voice" in giving unknowns a chance to win notoriety and much more.  Judges for Season 1 include Alice Cooper, Lzzy Hale, Gavin Rossdale, Tosin Abase, and Bishop Briggs.  The show is hosted by Matt Pinfield, Kellin Quinn, and Caity Babs.

25 bands will compete for prizes including a six-figure recording contract with Sumerian Records, a slot on a national music festival, and a $10,000 Guitar Center shopping spree.   The roster is populated by talented acts from across the Rock spectrum.  We're proud to Announce that Jersey Rock veterans Kodiak were selected to compete on the show! Check out the trailer below!

Kodiak is a rad Arena Rock act with a high-octane sound.  They are mentored by legendary drummer Carmine Appice.  The band helped Rat Radio kick off the Ocean of Love Billboard Radiothon with an epic performance last September.  We wish them the best of luck on "No Cover"!
