The state finally is letting recreational pot shops sell the bud…
Pretty big news for those who enjoy the green leafy vegetable today: The state’s Cannabis Regulatory Commission gave a thumbs up to 7 medical marijuana dispensaries in the state to begin selling legal recreational pot sales in New Jersey.
There’s going to be more than seven… but we’re only getting 7 to start because the commission thought they’re the most prepared with supply to handle the influx of customers and continue to satisfy the needs
You heard that right… only seven shops have been approved – so far. But the closest to the Jersey Shore are in Neptune and Little Egg Harbor.
In Little Egg Harbor, its The Botinist by Acerage…
Now, hold up a second because they’re not selling recreational dope yet… they’ve got to pay some hefty licensing fees and jump through a few other hoops which will probably take a few weeks.
Is it possible that they’ll be open and ready for recreational sales by April 20th? Only time will tell!
Oh, and what’s the hefty licensing fee to sell legal recreational pot sales in New Jersey? A cool million bucks.
