St. Peter’s coach and instant New Jersey legend Shaheen Holloway is a Peacock no more…he’s a Pirate!

Holloway has just been hired by Seton Hall after leading St. Peter’s to one of the greatest Cinderella runs in March Madness history.   St. Peter’s was the first-ever 15-seed to advance all the way to the Elite Eight.

And not only is Holloway staying in Jersey, but he’s going back to his alma mater.   Holloway was a big-time player for Seton Hall…he has the Pirate record for career assists.   And he also led Seton Hall to the Sweet 16 in the year 2000.

All in all…this is a win for Jersey.   Holloway remains in the Garden State where I’m sure he’ll do great things with the Seton Hall program.

And this has been another Opinionated Sports Opinion from East Side Dave!   You’re welcome!
