The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) have announced the revision of the general guidance on isolation and quarantine against COVID-19.

As of today (January 11), people who test positive for COVID-19 are directed to stay home and isolate for 5 days regardless of vaccination status.

Those who are are unvaccinated and have been exposed to the coronavirus are also encouraged stay home and quarantine for 5 days.

In addition, Governor Phil Murphy reported 21,483 new positive PCR tests and 142 new confirmed deaths earlier today for the state of New Jersey.
