RAT Rock News

Shinedown is laying the mystery on thick as the band approaches the release of their seventh studio album, the follow-up to 2018’s Attention Attention.

The band shared the video clip below to their Instagram, whose past post history has been removed and now only features this clip. The clip, itself, runs through 26 different symbols that create a secret code alphabet. The video clip was accompanied with the caption, “So it begins… #nowiknowmyabcs… Do you? #SD7”

Wherever comes next, fans should keep this coding handy for any clues Shinedown releases in the near future.

While their seventh studio album will be their first new LP in three years, Shinedown’s last piece of new music came in 2020 with the release of the stand-alone single “Atlas Falls.” The track was released to raise funds for groups offering assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic and would become Shinedown’s 16th number-one single on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Songs chart.
