A $100 Million Indoor Waterpark Is Coming To Atlantic City

Another family -friendly attraction is coming to Atlantic City! On January 12th a groundbreaking ceremony on Island Waterpark at Showboat Atlantic City is taking place at 10:30am.

Showboat's owner and CEO of Tower Investments, Inc., Bart Blatstein, announced the news in a press release earlier this week, touting the development as the largest beachfront indoor waterpark in the world. A retractable glass-pane roof will make it a year-round attraction.

The 103,000-square-foot waterpark will be located next to Showboat on New Jersey Avenue and will have a lazy river, pools, shopping, party rooms, lounge areas, and waterslides. So while you’re gambling and pounding drinks in one of the many casinos in AC, the babysitter can watch the kids frolic away in this behemoth watery paradise.
