This is some classic early ’90’s flashback fun, baby! And it’s got to do with the cast of Cheers, booze, and Jay Leno! YES!
The date is May 20th, 1993. One of the most legendary sitcoms of all time, Cheers, just had their final episode. Millions and millions of people have watched.
Naturally, NBC wants to capitalize on the massive audience, and they decide to have the cast of Cheers live on The Tonight Show………from the actual bar in Boston!
Needless to say, with real booze in full supply…the cast got shnockered. The story is that Cheers gang went all in and hit the bar hard. The result is a Tonight Show episode that runs wildly away from Jay Leno and is a must-watch! Enjoy!
