RAT Rock News

Ghost is back with their first new song in two years “Hunter’s Moon.”

The track is featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming installment of the Halloween franchise Halloween Kills. Per a press release, “Hunter’s Moon” will be utilized during the end credits of the film, which is set to hit theaters on January 21, 2022.

“Hunter’s Moon” is described as, “A series of inspired encounters between creative forces from various worlds of sound and vision.” This is a very Ghost-way of explaining Tobias Forge met Vice President of Feature Film Development at  Blumhouse Productions Ryan Turek backstage at The Forum in Los Angeles in 2018. They hit it off, and then Turek introduced Forge to Halloween Kills director David Gordon, and the rest is history.

“Hunter’s Moon” is accompanied by the music video below, which was directed by Amanda Demme. The single is available for streaming and download here.
