NEW YORK, NY - SEPTEMBER 12: Gleyber Torres #25 of the New York Yankees and Francisco Lindor #12 of the New York Mets exchange word as both teams' benches clear after Giancarlo Stanton #27 of the Yankees hits a two-run home run in the seventh inning of a game at Citi Field on September 12, 2021 in New York City. Things got nuts last in the Subway Series between the Yankees and Mets!

After Francisco Lindor of the Mets grandstanded on the base paths after hitting a home run off the Yankees…the Yanks’ Giancarlo Stanton answered back.

Stanton slugged a two-run homer (that tied the game) and gave a little trash talk back to Lindor…and that’s when the action started!

Benches and bullpens cleared…and the heat was in the New York City air!  The Yankees and Mets were furiously yelling at one another and the crowd was going crazy!

There were no fists thrown…as both teams are trying to make the playoffs…and player suspensions could ruin their postseason hopes.   But still, check this out!

God, I love baseball!
