Free Event at the Middletown Arts Center This Sunday 9/12!
The 5th Annual Metal Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will rock the Middletown Arts Center this Sunday! Usually held in Los Angeles, the ceremony moved east and online in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. It will be held as a live stream video event this Sunday at 2:00 pm. The ceremony will feature pre-recorded video inductions from Paul Stanley, Dee Snider, Chris Jericho, and many more.
Middletown resident and Rock photography legend Mark Weiss will be inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame by Dee Snider. Mark’s book “The Decade That Rocked” is available now. The exhibit of the same name has been running at The Middletown Arts Center since June. This Sunday will be the final day of the exhibit. You can experience the exhibit, pick up a copy of Mark’s epic book, and have it signed all in the same day. Learn more at middletownarts.org and thedecadethatrocked.com.
Ahead of the induction ceremony Mark Weiss and Metal Hall of Fame CEO Pat Gesualdo will host a Q & A with Eddie Trunk and Rat Radio’s Keith Roth. There will be a special guest appearance by Twisted Sister guitar player Jay Jay French and an acoustic performance by The Dictators.
Admission is free but there is limited seating. You can score your free ticket right now by emailing info@themetalhalloffame.org.
While admission is free, donations for the D.A.D Program (Drums And Dissabilities) will be accepted throughout the day. The D.A.D Program is one of the Metal Hall Of Fame’s key missions. It provides drum therapy rehabilitation services free of charge to veterans and disabled children.
