Controversy At The Spelling Bee! C-o-n-t-r-o-v-e-r-s-y….CONTROVERSY!
Can you spell controversy, Rat Rock Nation?! Because I sure can!
And that’s because the annual Scripps National Spelling Bee was held last night…and for the first time…instant replay was used!
After little Roy Seligman thought he spelled the word “ambystoma” correctly…the refs went to the booth…and the replay officials said Roy was actually WRONG!
Ouch! Sorry, Roy! This cleared the way for Zaila Avant-garde who ultimately won the championship! Congrats, Zaila!
Instant replay is everywhere now…first it was football, then basketball, then baseball…and now it’s the Spelling Bee! C-R-A-Z-Y!
