East Side Dave’s Top 5 Sopranos Side Characters (With VIDEO)

Holy macaroon!   Did you see the trailer for Sopranos movie?!   It just dropped and it looks awesome!

The film, titled The Many Saints Of Newark, will be a prequel and will focus on a young Tony Soprano as he rises in the Jersey underworld.   In case you missed it, you can check it out below and then come back for the list!

I'm sorry but that looks AWESOME.   I know I'm subjective...I'm a massive Sopranos fan.   But this movie really does look good.   So we started thinking, "Who are some of the best Sopranos side characters?"

We all love Tony and Carmella and Meadow and A.J.   But who were the greatest characters outside of those four?   That is what we shall determine RIGHT NOW with.......East Side Dave's Top 5 Sopranos Side Characters!   Bada-bing!

5.) Paulie Walnuts

Let's be honest.   Paulie Walnuts is one of the most recognizable and iconic characters in ANY show.   A true one-of-a-kind.

4.) Silvio Dante

As Tony's consigliere, Silvio was always trying to give Tony valuable input.   Whether Tony listened to his right-hand-man or not is a different story.

3.) Uncle Junior 

Junior Soprano was Tony's real-life uncle (he was the brother of Tony's father Johnny)..."Uncle June" was an absolute icon.  Old school mobster and also hysterical.

2.) Christopher Moltisanti

Christopher is one of the most important characters in the show.....many important plot-lines really do revolve around Christopher and his late father Dickie.

1.) Livia Soprano

Tony's mom Livia was...well...what can you say...she was a real piece of work.   But also one of the best characters in TV history.
