Rocking Big Man’s Blast at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park on 6/18!
This Friday is the 10 year anniversary of the passing of Rock legend Clarence Clemons. The somber occassion will be marked by an evening of memories and music at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park. Big Man’s Blast will celebrate the life of Clarence Clemons in a special manner. The event will look back on the past and ahead to the future. Much of that future will be carried by Clemons’ progeny. His son Jarod is a rising star on the local music scene.
Jarod Clemons And The Late Nights are on their way. The band is currently working on their debut album with Joe Pomarico of Telegraph Hill Records. To date they have released 3 killer singles with more coming soon. Jarod Clemons And The Late Nights will pay tribute to the life of Clarence Clemons with a special performance this Friday night.
Joining Jarod Clemons And The Late Nights on the bill are the Livesays and a number of special guests. Storied Rock Photographer Danny Clinch will present a pop-up gallery featuring never-before-seen photos of Clarence Clemons. The first 100 people in the door will receive a giveawy courtesy of Big Man’s Brew. The evening will culminate with a toast in honor of Clarence Clemons that will be live-streamed with the Hard Rock Hotel in Atlantic City at 10 pm. The honor of hosting this monumental event falls to yours truly, Tom Hanley.
