(L-R): Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Loki in Marvel Studios' LOKI exclusively on Disney+.

What’s up, Rat Rockers…..it’s your pop culture expert, “East Side” Dave of the Morning Rat Race, here to give you a non-spoiler review of Episode One of Marvel and Disney‘s new series…Loki!

The brand new series (which you can see on Disney Plus) stars Tom Hiddleston in the title role of Loki.   He’s just as we’ve known him in the Marvel Universe movies…he’s good and bad…moral and evil…darkly intelligent and always mischievous.   So far, he’s vintage Loki…and he’s very entertaining.

Meanwhile, Owen Wilson plays a sort-of time-cop called Mobius M. Mobius.   You see, Loki has somehow strayed off of the destined universal timeline…and Mobius is determined to get him back on track…and also use his help in tracking another “variant” (a variant is anyone who leaves the universal timeline and time-travels; thereby possibly messing up the order of things).   Wilson is great in the part…he’s funny and a little mysterious while having great chemistry with Hiddleston.

Without giving any spoilers, I can tell you that the show has plenty of twists and turns in this debut episode.   It’s mind-bending at times…and also really, really fun.   Loki is the third, live-action, Marvel Universe series that has been released on Disney Plus (the first two were WandaVision and The Falcon And The Winter Soldier)…and so far…it may be the best one yet.   It’s certainly off to a really good start!

Check out some clips below and watch Loki on Disney Plus!   A new episode drops every Wednesday!
