Rick Astley has had many interactions with the Foo Fighters over the years. His latest comes in the form of a delightful mashup of his hit song "Never Gonna Give You Up" and the Foo's "Best of You."
The mashup was inspired by frontman Dave Grohl's recent co-hosting stint on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which saw Grohl do a bit about Rick Rolling meme culture called "IRL Dave G'Roll."
Astley took to social media and responded with the video below. It was captioned, "Dave, Jimmy, I saw your clip on YouTube. Amazing!! Felt the need to respond - keep on Rockin and ‘Rollin’ Rick." And boy, does he really wail at the end!
