Jersey Rock Band of the Week: Springwood
Rocking The Cavern (Formerly The Jackson Moose Lodge) This Saturday 5/22!
Springwood is not your average Rock band. Search the entire local music scene and beyond and you may never come across anything like them. Springwood is a Ukulele-infused Rock outfit that can swing from Hawain vibes to hard and heavy in a flash. They are an active volcano of musical might and they will be coming to a venue near you this Summer.
Springwood’s latest releases “Electric Luau” and “So What You’re Saying” are both available now. The former is an EP and the latter is a brand new single. Check them out on all streaming platforms including bandcamp.
Springwood has a number of performances coming up over the next few months. The first of which is this Saturday 5/22 at The Cavern in Jackson. The name is new, but you may have already seen a show there. Until recent it was known as The Jackson Moose Lodge. The venue plans to book a lot of the acts that frequented the now defunct, but fondly remembered Brighton Bar.
Springwood will be joined by Candy Cavity on 5/22. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Message Springwood on social media for advance tickets. Find all the details on the facebook event page.
Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear cuts from “Electric Luau” as well as Springwood’s latest single “So What You’re Saying”. Guitar player Johnny Knight will call in to the show each night!
