ElektraThis is kinda fun for you Doors fans out there. I was perusing The Doors' YouTube channel, when I found this interesting little piece of audio. It's a Los Angeles radio commercial from 1971 for the album L.A. Woman.
What struck me about the ad is how little talking there is. They only have a quick voice-over at the beginning and at the end. The rest is all music as they essentially play a one-minute long medley for the record.
Still...it's pretty cool hearing this vintage radio spot for a legendary album that was released FIFTY years ago (April 19th, 1971)! Wow!
